Pulling of books (also known as "paging") is available to UW-affiliated patrons (students, faculty, and staff) and public patrons with a valid UW Libraries account.

To request a book, find the book in QuickSearch and sign into your account. Click on the "Hold for me" link and select the library, enter the "Not needed after" date, and click on "Send Request."

The turnaround time on a request is two business days, although the library will try to complete the request within one day when staffing allows. The requested books will be available for pick-up at the chosen library. Ensure that a WyoOne card, UW Library card (for public patrons), or a government-issued photo ID is brought to check out the books.

On-demand paging is available for patrons with disabilities or injuries that prevent them from retrieving the books themselves. Inquire at the Help Desk at any of the UW Libraries. This "Requests for Retrieval" policy is available at this link.
