This library guide provides links to UW Library databases that you can obtain images to use in your class presentations under the Fair Use provision of US Copyright Law. Commercial use of the images is prohibited. This library guide contains a section that discusses using images in compliance with copyright law.

Google Images can be searched to locate copyright free or freely-licensed creative commons. This link describes how to set the search filters.

Wikimedia Creative Commons is another option for obtaining images.

Be sure to read all the guidelines for any site that allows free sharing of images to ensure that the provisions of copyright law are met.
