"Clearing the cache" means to clean or clear out recent browsing history. Sometimes Internet browsers try to reload a stored or saved webpage from the "cache" or history. For example, the cache may contain data from a previous failed attempt to log-onto a secure website and continually reload that same information. Clearing this information allows the new information to be used while logging on.

Refer to the following tables for PC:

Chrome Press ctrl + shift + delete. Click the Clear browsing data button.
Firefox Click the Clear Now button.
Internet Explorer Click the Delete button.
Edge Click the Clear button.

For Mac:

Chrome Press shift + cmd + delete. Click the Clear browsing data button.
