Access to programs such as Microsoft Office is managed by UW Information Technology (IT). The library has nothing to do with the computers located in the library. We simply provide the space to UW IT to house computer labs.
This webpage from UW IT explains the software that is available to student for free or by purchase. Contact UW IT if you have questions about the software or services that are offered.
