There are several ways to learn to use the library.
The UW Libraries have prepared an online library guide titled "Tutorials" that cover the basic skills needed to locate books, articles, journals, and media. These are short videos that provide excellent instruction.
In addition, the UW Libraries has its own YouTube channel. In addition the the videos provided on the library guide, there are many other useful how-to videos.
In person help is also available. Stop by the Help Desk at Coe Library or any of the branch libraries and ask to have a brief orientation to using the library. For patrons seeking subject-specific instruction (e.g., how to use the music resources), contact the subject matter librarian for that area. These liaison librarians have their profiles and contact information listed on this library guide.
Questions about how to use the library may be emailed to email@example.com.
