The TIP test is no longer required to fulfill a requirement for the University Studies Program (USP). The USP 2003 required the TIP to fulfill the "L" or "Information Literacy" requirement. The new USP 2015 standards do not have an "L" requirement and there is no requirement for students to take the TIP. Students who are still on the USP 2003 standards need to check with the UW Registrar to ensure that their record reflects having taken or been granted a waiver for the TIP.
The web-based TIP module that was managed by the library is no longer available. A module that is an add-on to a WyoCourses module is available. The instructor uploads the quizzes into the courseshell and manages all test results. The library has no part of grade management or reporting.
The TIP modules are available for downloading in through this library guide: http://libguides.uwyo.edu/TIPimport
If you have any questions or difficulties embedding them into your course, please feel free to contact Kate Conerton at firstname.lastname@example.org or 6-5793.
