Yes. There are four databases that allow you to search for books by lexile level and other criteria.

  • The advanced search option in the Books in Print database allows searching by lexile level. The specific levels must be entered.
  • The Childrens' Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) not only allows searching by lexile level, but other reading metrics.
  • NoveList K-8 Plus advanced search option has filters to select by ranges of lexile range or a specific score.
  • NoveList Plus is essentially the same platform as the previous database, but includes reading recommendations for adults, teens, and children.
