Viewing Old Issues of the Branding Iron

Coe Library has issues of The Branding Iron newspaper published since 1923 in print and microfilm. Use Search Journals with "Branding Iron and Wyoming" to see where the newspapers are stored.

Wyoming Student was the student newspaper before the BI. It was published from 1913 to 1922. Use Search Journals with "Branding Iron and Wyoming" to see where the newspapers are stored.

Historic issues have been bound into volumes and are available for in-library use in the Emmett Chisum Special Collections Room on Level 3 of Coe Library.

UW Libraries has an ongoing project of digitizing past issues of Wyoming Student and The Branding Iron. Issues can be viewed through this link, then clicking on which student newspaper is needed.
