UW IT does not support EndNote Desktop software, therefore faculty need to pay with their own funds (or grant funding) to obtain it.  There is some discounting for academic users through a 3rd party vendor. The discount is only $30 for faculty though for a multiplatform product (from MSRP $249.95 to $219.95).

From the EndNote website, the page is buried under the link to  Buy / Student Pricing. Students can get a discount that amounts to approximately half off. You must register with your UW email to verify that you are eligible for a faculty discount and to see other purchasing options.  Here is the direct link to the 3rd party webpage for a faculty discount: https://estore.onthehub.com/WebStore/OfferingDetails.aspx?o=1a7f8405-daa1-e611-9422-b8ca3a5db7a1&pmv=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

If you need help in getting started using EndNote Desktop, a library guide is available at the following link:  https://uwyo.libguides.com/citationmanagement

You can also contact Judy Pasek, the STEM librarian, if you have additional questions. The email address is jpasek@uwyo.edu
