"At Bindery"

"At bindery" means that the journal, book, or other publication has been sent to a facility for binding. Repairs that cannot be made by our Technical Services department are sent out to professional book binders. In addition, journals, as well as select magazines and newspapers, are bound together into one volume when a specific number of issues are collected together.

Usually this process takes a month or more. If you need a specific item that is at the bindery, use Prospector or Interlibrary Loan to locate another copy of the book or journal. If you need assistance, contact the help desk at Coe Library located on Level 2. They can also be contacted at coeref@uwyo.edu or 307-766-2070.

Book-binding Services

The library has very limited book-binding services, which are focused on maintaining and repairing books within the University Libraries collection. Other items may be eligible for repair following consultation with the Resources Discovery & Management Division.

With regard to binding of personal books or documents, the University Store (formerly University Bookstore) provides services for binding course packets or other material related to instruction. Contact the Service Desk in the store, which is located in the Wyoming Union, or call them at 766-3624.

There are two regional companies that provide binding services. We do not endorse either company although we have used their services. These companies are:
