For items borrowed from the UW Libraries, UW Law Library, and Prospector click on the key-shaped icon in the upper-right corner of the main UW Libraries webpage, and then click on the far-left box labeled "Log-in & Prospector." (You may click on the links or the icons on this FAQ to go to those pages).
Log on using your WyoWeb username and password. Once signed onto your account you will find a list of what you have checked out. You can select individual items by checking the boxes in the "RENEW" column or select the "Renew All" button. The system will indicate if you successfully renewed items by assigning the new due date in the "STATUS" column.
If the system cannot renew an item you will be provided an explanation. Common reasons for renewals failing include:
- Overdue items.
- Items may not be renewed because renewals are not permitted.
- Item have already been renewed as many times as is permitted.
To request a renewal on these items you can bring the item into one of our libraries, call one of the libraries, or send an email at email@example.com.
To renew Request It (ILL), log in to your Request It account using your WyoWeb username and password. Choose "View/Renew Checked out Items" from the left-hand menu. Renewals may or may not be granted by the lending library.
