Before June 2018, users had to log in separately to Off-Campus Access. Now, the University uses two-factor authentication for an additional layer of security. Each database that requires logging in will first prompt you to enter your WyoWeb/UW username and password when accessed. Next, you will choose an authentication method: Call Me or Enter a Bypass Code. Continue to follow the instructions when prompted.

If you have difficulties, go through the following checklist. After each step, recheck whether you can log on or not:

1. Check to make sure you have an Internet connection.

2. Make sure you use a recommended Web browser; we recommend Firefox or Chrome for the best experience. Make sure this browser is up to date.

3. Clear the browser cache/history.

4. Make sure that your computer's operating system is up to date.

5. Restart your computer.

For more information about the 2FA policy and how to set up your access, read the information at this link to the UW IT knowledge base: https://uwyo.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/KB/?CategoryID=1765

Any problems with accessing library databases that occur when proper 2FA procedures have been followed should be reported to UW Libraries at coeref@uwyo.edu, or online Chat, or text us (307) 460-4336.
