The Alma Doke McMurry Reading Room is located in Coe Library, Room 268. To find it start at the main entrance, turn right at the opening in the floor, and follow the gray carpeting past the CSIC (Maker Space), Studio Coe, and Level 2 stacks until you arrive at the back of the building.

The room was funded through an endowment created by Carol McMurry and Pat Spieles, both of whom are Wyoming Natives and UW graduates. The room is named in honor of McMurry's grandmother, Alma Doke McMurry. This link is to a UW press release with more information.

Students, faculty, staff, and visitors are encouraged to use the room. The Reading Room is not a designated quiet study area and may not be reserved for group use.

Questions about the room should be directed to UW Libraries Dean's Office.
