From the 2019-2020 Statistical Summary for University of Wyoming Libraries, the most recent total count of books is 2,758,577 volumes (print = 1,784,109 / ebooks = 974,468).

The total of all items in the library collections is 7,554,041. This total number includes the book total above plus:

  • subscriptions to print serials and periodicals : 14,088
  • subscriptions to electronic journals : 163,841
  • microforms (fiche and film) : 2,927,995
  • maps : 173,895
  • government documents : 1,515,645

In addition, the library subscribes to or has access to over 1,700 databases. These databases provide access to current and historic journal articles, data sets, and digital media sources (audio and video).

There are 21 faculty librarians; 30 staff in paraprofessional, technical, and clerical positions; and 14 student employees.

The library can seat 1,600 users in study spaces, rooms, and computer labs. There are 152 computer workstations located in the library for patrons.
