The University Store is responsible for providing information about required textbooks and their website lists the textbooks required for campus and online classes. Look up your courses here. You'll see pricing options for new, used, and rentals, as well as the publication information to obtain books elsewhere.

Please be aware that the UW Libraries do not provide textbooks with the following exceptions:

  • If a textbook is available in our collection, usually that is because a faculty member has requested the book be purchased. There is usually only a single copy. Students may check out the textbook but standard borrowing policies apply.
  • There are some faculty who put textbooks on reserve for courses that they teach but not all professors do this. Check course reserves by clicking here. You can search by course or instructor.
