GRE study guides are popular, and our print guides are often checked out. You can check availability for them in our library catalog with this catalog search for GRE-related material (click the link to run the search; a new webpage will open). Note that some of the guides are available electronically. For these resources, click on the title (it will say electronic resource), then click the green "View full text" button.

Other guides are located in our reference collection and cannot be checked out. Those have the same call numbers as the study guides in the general collection. They should be available when you come to Coe Library to use them. The catalog will show them Library Use Only.

Some guides can be checked out, but these go fast and often go missing. You also have the option of requesting GRE study guides through Prospector or Request It.

The library has a database called Learning Express Library that has practice tests. This is a subscription database and you will need to be UW student, faculty, or staff to use it. You will need to create an account to keep track of which practice tests you've taken. GRE guides are in the "College Center" section, which you can locate by clicking through the buttons with images located in the center of the page, or by using the drop-down menu labeled "All Centers." Once on the "College Center" section, select "Prepare for Graduate School Admissions Exams."
