Assistance from Staff

Any University of Wyoming student, faculty member, staff member, or other library user who needs help using the Libraries' facilities or collections should contact the Libraries' staff.

Additional services are provided by University Disability Support Services (UDSS). They are in Knight Hall 109. Phone (TTY): (307)-766-3073; Fax: 307-766-3298; email: udss@uwyo.edu.

Wheelchair Access

If materials are too difficult to access, there are two options. The first is to ask at any library Help Desk for a staff member to accompany you to the stacks to obtain the books. The second is to use the "Hold for me" service to have the book pulled (aka "paged"). Find your book with QuickSearch and sign in. Then, click on "Hold for Me" located under the Physical Availability section of an item page. Materials will be pulled and ready for pickup within two business days.

If materials are too high to reach, you may request those titles through Request It and pick them up at that libraries' circulation desk.
