To view new additions to the library collection, click on the blue “Catalog” icon located on the main UW library webpage. When the catalog webpage loads, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Look for the icons labeled “New Book Covers” and “New Books.”

The “New Book Covers” is the most visual of the browsing tools. Click on a cover and a brief description of the book appears. You can also go to the library catalog entry to view the record and request the book. The “New Books” option is a catalog-based listing of the new books and many of the entries have an image of the book cover. Both options allow filtering by subject and interest.

This link will take you to the catalog search for new books.

This link will take you to the cover browse for the popular reading collection. Once on this page, locate the blue "View other subjects" button in the upper-right corner. Clicking on this button will show a list of subject areas. Click on the desired subject to display a list of new books cataloged by that topic.
