One of the features of the UW Libraries' catalog is the "Cite this item" button. This button is located along the line of buttons under the yellow "Location/Call Number/Status" bar. It looks like this:
Click on the button and your browser screen will show a pop-up screen that states "Your library has customized WorldCat.org." Click the option for "Stay on www.worldcat.org," then click on "Continue."
A page headed with the text "Citation Styles for ..." box will appear. Choices for APA, Chicago, Harvard, MLA, and Turabian are available. Copy/paste to a document.
For other writing styles (e.g., CSE, IEEE, etc.), use the available information to create an appropriate citation. The Citation and Style Guide library guide provides links to generating citations for other writing styles.
