The UW World Language Center offers free language classes for UW staff, students, and faculty. These are organized classes with an established curriculum, but are not for credit. The classes are supported by the UW College of Education and the Associated Students of the University of Wyoming (ASUW). Most are offered at the main UW campus, but a few classes are taught at the UW Casper campus.

In general, classes begin about a week after the semester begins and conclude a week or two prior to the end of the semester. Languages that are offered are Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, French, German, Hebrew, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish, Polish, and Portuguese.
