Q. Proxy Link Issue

Due to a technical issue, the UW Libraries moved to a new proxy server. Several of our resources are still in the process of migrating to this new system. We are actively working on troubleshooting broken links and working to resolve technical issues. 

 If you are accessing our e-resources from off-campus or have links saved, you will need to modify the link to access them. 

 Here are the instructions to modify a link to work with our new system. 

Below is an example link using the Kanopy video streaming platform.  Note that the URL contains two parts, a prefix, and the URL for the video itself, separated by an equals sign. 

https://www-lib.uwyo.edu/redirect.cfm?url=https://uwyo.kanopy.com/node/88266

To update this link to work with the new proxy server, just replace the text BEFORE the equals sign with this string: https://uwyo.idm.oclc.org/login?url=

For example the new, the new link would be: 

https://uwyo.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://uwyo.kanopy.com/node/88266
