No self-service photocopiers are available in any of the University Libraries. The UW Copy Center located in the Wyoming Union has photocopiers available.
Coe Library has a digital "KIC" scanner is available. This device scans books and other documents into pdf format, which can then either be saved to a USB thumb-drive or emailed. The KIC scanner is located on Level 2 near the Help Desk and may be used at no cost.
The Coe 202 computer lab has a self-service scanner that has an automatic document feeder and is available at no cost. The scanner is located with the printers in that lab. Ask the IT Lab Assistant to be directed to that resource.
UW students can also use one of the scanners in the Coe Computer labs to copy material.
Smartphone apps are a handy way to copy material from books, magazines, and newspapers. CamScanner is a good Android and iPhone app that allows creation and storage of images as pdfs.
