The Libraries have no public fax machines. Fax machines are available in the Wyoming Union at the Information Desk and at the Copy Center. You can also send faxes from the Laramie FedEx Kinkos (2124 East Grand Avenue) or The UPS Store (514 Grand Ave.).

No self-service photocopiers are available in any of the University Libraries. The UW Copy Center located in the Wyoming Union has photocopiers available.

Regarding scanners, almost every Information Technology (IT) computer lab, including those located in Coe Library, have scanners available for student, staff, and faculty use. Check with the UW IT Lab Assistant to find a scanner. If you are not affiliated with UW, there are public scanners at the Laramie FedEx Kinkos.

Self-service scanning is available on Level 2 of Coe Library, near the Help Desk. Documents may be saved in the following manner:

  • Email to a valid email address
  • Saved to the cloud
  • Saved to a USB flash drive
  • Saved as an audio file

There is a self-feeding scanner located in the Coe 202 computer lab that is available for public use. Documents are sent as pdfs to an email address.

Contact the Coe Help Desk for more information: 1 307 766-3190.
