UW undergraduates, alumni, residents and non-residents, UW Lab School students, reciprocal borrowers, workshops, corporations, and law firms may check out a book for 28 days. Books may be renewed twice if not requested by another borrower.
University faculty, staff, graduate and honors students, and Lab School teachers may check out a book for one semester. Books may be renewed twice if not requested by another borrower.
DVDs are checked out for seven days.
Popular reading materials can be checked out for 21 days and renewed once.
Items you receive through Prospector have varying loan periods. Books may be checked out for 21 days and renewed once. Prospector media may be checked out for seven days.
Materials borrowed from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan have varying loan periods because they are set by the lending library.
