The Libraries' hours of operation vary during holidays, finals, summer session and for each branch library.
During the fall and spring academic semesters, the main UW library, Coe Library, is open during the active semester from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays, Coe is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m. Hours for other campus libraries are available at the link posted above.
Library administrative office hours tend to be 8-5, Monday-Friday most of the year
Summer hours for the libraries vary. For Coe Library is is usually 7:30-5:30, Monday-Friday during the summer.
UW Libraries closes during official holidays recognized by the university, including Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day. In conjunction with Thanksgiving Day, the library is closed on the Friday after that holiday. The library is closed during the universities "Winter Break" closure, which varies from year to year but is usually for one week.
