The Popular Reading Collection is a group of fiction, nonfiction and graphic novels that the Libraries lease for recreational reading. The Collection is located on Coe's main floor about half-way along the main east-west aisle and (marked by a sandwich-board sign).

Popular reading books are available for three-week loans with one renewal to anyone that has borrowing privileges from the Libraries. Books are added monthly and when their use declines other books are returned to the leasing company.
