Library borrowers may authorize a representative to check out materials on their behalf by submitting a Proxy Authorization Form (PDF) to any circulation desk. Proxy relationships may be one-to-one or reciprocal. Account owners assume responsibility for all library transactions made by his or her proxy.

  • The proxy will be linked to your account (or to each other if the reciprocal relationship is selected). A proxy can check out, renew, and place requests on your behalf.
  • The account owner and proxy’s account must both be in good standing in order to transact library business.
  • Information regarding your account will remain confidential and will not be shared with your proxy.
  • Account owners may designate more than one proxy.
